Charity impact

3p doesn't sound like much. Until it compounds.

Every ticket sold on TocynTicket sends 3p to a charity the promoter chooses. Based on the numbers in your calculator above, here's what that looks like over time.

FAQ

Things you'll ask.

What's the Stripe processing fee?

Stripe charges 1.5% + 20p per UK card transaction. We don't mark it up — it's passed through at cost. The calculator above shows our 25p platform fee and the Stripe fee as separate lines so you can see exactly where every penny goes. On a £15 ticket the all-in cost is around 67p. Most competitors bundle their processing fee into their advertised rate — we'd rather show it honestly.

When do I get paid?

Directly from Stripe to your bank, on Stripe's standard payout schedule (typically 2–7 days after each transaction). We never hold your money. We never sit on it. No waiting for us to "release funds" after an event.

Is there a contract or notice period?

No. Pay-as-you-go, no monthly fees, no tie-in. If a better option comes along tomorrow, walk away. We'd rather earn your business every month than trap you in a contract.

Can I pass the fee on to customers?

Yes. Every event supports a booking fee that you set. Many promoters pass the 25p through to buyers, which makes your ticketing effectively free to run. Customers pay less than they would on any other platform anyway — a 25p booking fee is noticeably below what they'd pay on Eventbrite, Skiddle, or Ticketmaster.
